Controlled K-9

Take Control - This class covers the necessary skills needed for basic obedience and good manners. The main focus will be on learning how to control your dog in various situations by applying the appropriate techniques. Introductory work includes the commands sit, down, stay, come, drop it and leave it, as well as leash walking skills. (Class runs year-round for 6 consecutive weeks for a cost of $200 per session. Confidence K-9

Improve Confidence - This is an introductory agility class which will focus on confidence building for your dog by having them go through a series of challenging obstacle courses. The class will not only increase your dog’s confidence, but will also strengthen and reinforce coordination, obedience training and the relationship you have with your dog. (Class runs year-round for 4 consecutive weeks for a cost of $140 per session. Drop-ins are also available for $25 per class after completion of one full session. Please call for details.)

Cautious K-9

Remain Focused - The main emphasis in this class is on dogs which are more difficult to handle and exhibit cautious, fearful or mildly aggressive behavior. This class focuses on building basic obedience skills as well as implementing behavior modification techniques for handling a difficult and reactive dog. (Class runs year-round for 6 consecutive weeks for a cost of $200 per session. Please call for details.)

Chaos K-9

Stay Alert - This class will be located off-premises at various locations and will refine your dog’s skills outside of a classroom setting. The goal of this class is to help both dog and owner to adjust to the potential chaos of distractions and teach appropriate ways of handling your dog in real life situations. *Controlled K-9 should be completed prior to enrolling in this class.* (Class runs year-round for 6 consecutive weeks for a cost of $200 per session. Combination K-9

Get Help - This unique class unites Controlled K-9, Confidence K-9, Cautious K-9 and Chaos K-9 into one boot camp style course. This class is designed for extreme cases where dogs are aggressive, un-manageable and a potential threat to other dogs and/or humans. It is an intensive training course that is highly specialized depending on the needs of your dog. (Boot camp is available year-round and costs $1000 for a 2 week course. Please call for details.)

Classroom K-9

Continue Learning - This seminar style course will teach the basics of dog behavior through discussion, visuals and by example. This class is designed so owners and handlers can learn about and have a better understanding of dog/animal behavior, its origin and how to identify behavior appropriately. Educational topics will include body language, aggression, anxiety, personality, past history and nutrition. (Please call for details.)

Counsel K-9

Don't Give Up - This is a one-to-one private counseling session that will be offered at Found. It includes your dogs(s) and you or your family. In this session, an evaluation and assessment of behaviors will be conducted in conjunction with practical solutions to solve each problem. (Each session lasts approximately 90 minutes and costs $80 per session.)
