Training Organizations

Curtis voluntarily gives much of his time to rescue dogs – his passion. He has helped the following organizations with training, behavior and advice on how to reduce pet euthanasia and offer a second chance to these unfortunate animals:

	Chicago Canine Rescue CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over five years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 1,400 dogs, cats, kittens (yes, we have started helping a few felines each year, too!) and puppies.
	Pets are Worth Saving (Chicago) PAWS Chicago (Pets Are Worth Saving) is the city's largest no-kill humane organization. PAWS Chicago envisions a no-kill Chicago--a city in which pets are not destroyed just because they are homeless.
	Lake County Animal Control We are an animal adoption center in Crown Point, Indiana. We are also a non-profit organization and run off of government grants and donations. We never euthanise adoptable animals and we are always looking for rescue groups to help us place our adoptable animals.
	Anderson Animal Shelter (Elgin, IL) The mission of Anderson Animal Shelter is to continue to serve as a premier private facility dedicated to the compassionate and humane treatment of homeless companion animals through direct care, education and community outreach programs.
	Lake Shore Animal Shelter (Chicago) Since 1966, LSAS has been working to reduce the needless killing of pets through adoption efforts, public education programs, and spay/neuter promotion. The pioneer no-kill shelter in Chicago, LSAS takes in dogs and fosters cats who must be given up by their families, those who have been abandoned by previous caregivers, and those in the greatest need: the adoptable but homeless animals in need of medical care and training before re-homing can be considered.
	Cause4Paws Cause 4 Paws is a non-profit (process of 501(c)3) Rescue that is not limited to dogs. If we have space we will help whatever comes along. We are a no-kill, small operation that can use all donations possible!
	ARFhouse (Animal Refuge Foundation) (Chicago) ARFhouse Chicago (Animal Refuge Foundation) is a no-kill animal shelter located in Chicago. Founded in 2006, a group of individuals with experience in the animal rescue industry and the desire to help Chicago lower its euthanasia rate and homeless pet population formed ARFhouse Chicago. We are a 100% volunteer run organization.
	Animal House Shelter, Inc. (Huntley, IL) Animal House Shelter, Inc rescues abused and neglected dogs and cats and rehabilitates them mentally & physically in order to place them with the best new family. We rescue 98% of our dogs from 'kill' shelters, pounds and various animal control facilities in which they are usually listed as strays and almost always scheduled to be euthanized.
